Here are the past Digibuddies lessons for the Pfaff Creative Designer for Windows program.  Each lesson includes a written lesson, the Design as completed and saved during the construction and video clips that better explain the program.  All can be viewed and played on your computer screen.

What is on the 1-12 CD?

Basic Training

    Added to this first CD is a series of lessons and videos that cover basic manipulation of the program. Not available anywhere else!  

Clarence Cupid

  Follow the lessons and videos to create this whimsical cupid.  Basic lesson covers outlining by hand.

Celtic Knot:

  This lesson covers the A fill and creates an intricate celtic knot.  So much fun you will be looking for more celtic knots to digitize.

Liam Leprachaun

   This little guy is ready to charm you.  In this lesson there are some hints on texturizing and changing the basic B fill.

Pansy

    Realistic embroidery can be fun and challenging.  This lesson covers the basics of creating a different look with angles and shading.

Floral Frame Design

  This lesson utilizes copy and paste techniques to create a pretty floral frame, suitable for either a picture mat or for a motto or logo.

Maxi Stitch & Custom 9mm stitch patterns

    Welcome to the other side of the PCD-Win program.  Here we will explore creating stitch pattern combinations, Maxi stitches and custom 9mm running embroidery stitches.

Victorian Fan

   A pretty applique fan is created in this lesson which also covers the basic types of applique and how to create designs with them.

Victorian Fan, Part 2

   Take the fan created in the first file to new level with pretty embroidered decorations. This lesson instructs you in the construction of a floral design and a small butterfly to finish the Victorian Fan Design.

Redwork

   Poppies and Wheat are the subject of this wonderful design.  Follow along as we learn about how to do redwork with NO jump stitches.  Two matching design templates are included with the lesson.

Hot Air Balloon

   An exciting excursion into creating 3-D designs, this lesson covers using the machine stitches as accents, A fill for depth and texture and gives you a wonderful final design.

Daisy Paper doll

  Something cute and different is little Daisy, a paper doll that you creat in this design.  She has basic fills, overlap and a few highlighting techniques as well. Templates for clothing are included.

Open work leaves

   The fall leave can make a wonderful addition to your collection of designs, and this lesson covers a totally unusual techique that leave a wonderful open fill and leaves with great texture.

And on CD 13-24?

Fuzzy Teddy

   With this lesson create a cute and cuddily Teddy bear, with a real fuzzy look.  This type of design will set your digitizing apart from the regular "coloring book" type of designs.

Heart

  This lesson looks into a totally different way of digitizing.  A cupid within a heart, but the cupid is just an open space in the fill.  Also covers using machine stitches in your designs.

Lace Heart

  Free standing lace is an exciting creation with your PCD-Win software and this simple heart will have you ready to create more lace motifs..

Fancy Fill Shamrock

   Long for the textured fills of some of the other digitizing software?  This lesson demonstrates how to get that same effect, using prepared fill squares.  Lesson also covers creating lettering with PCD-Win

Cabrifole

   Dumb name, neat design.  This design incorporates A fill with French knots and texture for an heirloom look, and is also great for corner sewouts.

Crazy Quilt Stitches

  With the ability to create running stitch patterns, this lesson gives you more tools for working with 2 or more colors and using these stitches on machines not able to use the running stitches.

Quilt Heart

   This fun motive is created with running embroidery stitches completed in the previous lesson.  With paper piecing, the patchwork goes together quite easily and the design has lots of impact.

Butterfly

   An easy lesson on creating a wonderful 3-D butterfly with just A fill and running stitches.  This is a wonderful look and less work than you would.

Border

   Ever wanted to do a design that will easily repeat for a border?  This easy flower design was created to do just that..

Halloween

 Here is a design especially created for multihooping.  With lots of texture and a printed background, it will give you an extra spooky look.

Santa

  The more texture designs have, the more they stand out.  Here's a jolly Santa, with a nice curly beard and a bag of toys for all the good girls and boys.

Flower

   This last one is an abstract that is generated from an actual photograph.  Fun with some texture and great effects.
